When we returned after several years living on the East Coast, a pastor friend suggested we check out Columbia Presbyterian for their Youth Program. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made for our family. Columbia quickly became our church home. I began working here not too long after, in 2022. I often focus on our smallest saints, ages birth-fifth grade; sometimes through coordinating Vacation Bible School or Sunday School, other times by wearing wings and reading to the kids at Circle of Friends preschool as the Book Fairy. I work with a large group of amazing women through our MomCo meetups. I have a Masters in Social Work with experience working in parent-child education, therapeutic preschool, foster care, military spouse support and pregnancy resource ministries. My husband recently retired from the Air Force after over twenty years of service, and we love welcoming military families to Columbia. We are the parents of two busy teenagers that keep our hearts full and our gas tanks empty.

Warning: I am a hugger. I once almost hugged an uber driver when he dropped me off at the airport, but I stopped myself just in time. I’m working on it.
