I have been at CPC since 2010 after serving in Northern California, New Jersey, and Southern California. My first 12 years here were spent leading our youth ministry and founding a local non-profit known as The Columbia Future Forge.

I was first drawn to Christ as a teenager, through building homes in Mexico as part of a church that not only loved Jesus but also embraced doubts and deep thinking. I’m convinced that committing to Jesus and his Kingdom Way is one of the most life-giving and joyous choices anyone can make.

I studied history and forestry at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and earned my Master’s degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. I’m a huge Dodgers fan, a lover of blues and country music, an outdoor enthusiast, and passionate about “doing the gospel” right here in our local community.

I love CPC because it is a church that’s passionate about Jesus, thoughtful, and dedicated to living the gospel within the community. It has always been a warm, supportive place that has never put undue pressure on my wife or kids—a rare gift to a pastor. CPC isn’t flashy, and I love that its ministry is focused on long-term faithfulness rather than quick fixes.
